Had 2 funny adventures with Ben.
Wednesday night I gave him a bath, then decided to attempt to jump in the shower. So, I didn't lock him out of the bathroom (my first mistake) and... let's just say it ends with a fully clothed toddler soaking wet standing in the shower with me.
Today we stopped by Maggie's to say hi to the boys. On the way back we just wore our socks, but then Ben decided to dart away and start raking. That was fine and good, until he went behind the thownhouses into the mucky mud! So both Mom and Ben ended up with muddy socks.
I love these silly times. To me, its what having a boy is about.

Tuesday
Crazy Day!
Ben has decided he will be waking ME up, instead of the other way around. So sometime between 5:30 and 6 (instead of me getting up at 6:30 and getting him up at 7) he gets out of his firetruck toddler bed, goes to the baby gate in his door and whines/calls for me. But I love morning time with him, he's so silly. He played on his Tricycle this morning--I'm sure by July he'll be cruising on that thing!
Went to the used baby sale today. Love getting good deals!
I got 6 pairs of summer jammies, 1 pair of sandals, a "boon" frog bath toy scoop $5, Elmo Laptop $4, Etch-A-Sketch $2, New package of Pull Ups $5, Toy Lawnmower $4 and a few things for Carson:) I think I did a pretty good job of sticking to my list!! (Right Ross?! ;)
I also went and got my haircut and blowdried. I cannot remember the last time I took my time getting my haircut and actually got it styled by the stylist (Is that why they call them that?) I usually leave with a wet due, get home, take a shower, and find a big chunk that is a diff length! Grrr.
Thursday Night is Sabres Night... which means... we get to work all day and then go back 6:30-8:30. I'm not so sure that sounds like fun, especially since I'm already thinking "It's only Tuesday?!?!?!"

Sunday....
Grocery Shopping, Laundry and random other errands. Thank goodness it's finally nice outside so we can pepper in some trips to the park, playing with neighbor boys in the yard and taking Bailey out. Both Bailey & Ben are worn out from playing in the fresh air and sunshine-whew-I am too!
Hope this is a good week.
Monday dentist appointment, Tuesday used baby sale, Wednesday ?, Thursday ?, Friday-leave work early and head to Richmond!!! Woohoooo. Hope there's a Sonic on the way-and that Ben has fun with me at the children's museum!

A Sunny Saturday
The day started at 6:40 with some cartoons, a "bailey walk" and then to my school for some Disc Golf and Ben running around. It was going well until he picked up some goose poop and his germ-a-phob father made us leave, haha.
Then we went to Chik-Fil-A for breakfast and a warmer place to play. Ben fell asleep on the way home, so we took Ross' car and dropped it off for an oil change so it's ready for our mini-getaway to Richmond next weekend!
Then we played out front on the tricycle and Ben raked like his daddy with his own mini-rake. I think that this is going to be a very fun spring & summer!
Finally, Ross grilled pork tenderloin and roasted some red potatoes. So yummy! We had a wore out little boy and Mom & Dad could actually put a movie in at a decent hour! EVERYONE WINS!

Friday!
Thank Goodness It's Friday!
Looking forward to having a weekend with the boys--hopefully it will be sunny and warm so we can go outside and wear the monster out!
Looking forward to our little getaway -with Ben- next weekend to Richmond. Ross is judging some Civics Speeches, and I'm taking Ben to the children's museum!!
A night away somewhere other than Michigan! (We love MI, but, need to take "vacations" too, not just visit family all the time!)
Also, so happy for all the new babies in the world and hope that they all continue to grow steadily and stay healthy! Braxton, Jaiden and Maddison-Welcome to the World!

Wednesday-Hump Day
We got rid of the big nasty purple/red couch. It was time. Our living room is back to cute and cozy. We got a new clean rug and we're set for the next year (hopefully!)
Made lasagna to take to work to share with the 8th grade teachers. We all end up bringing in food at some point. I'm taking salad too.... hopefully it turns out yummy! Cross your fingers for me. I used a different type of 'no boil' noodles.
Ben stayed up until 9 pm! And, woke me up at 5:40! Whew! Long day with a busy little guy-some highlights are---him eating a popsicle on the way home from daycare and savoring every moment, crawling up on the dining room table and looking straight at us like "what?" and a fun bathtime where I stuck my foot in and was the 'monster'. He squealed with delight.
He is a ham... so lucky to have a healthy and happy little monster, I mean boy;) I love my monster!

Ben's Favorite Dinner
Ben LOVES Beef Stroganoff. Like, the easiest and cheapest thing to cook.
(Brown 1 lbs. Ground Beef, add 2 cans Crm of Mushroom, large dollup of Sr Crm and a little milk. Boil a bag of Yolk Noodles. Ross always puts hot sauce on his)
He uses his fork and his hand to shovel it in. (His LEFT hand mind you---to Grandpa Bueche & Meghan's delight)
I love when he actually eats something.... he gets a good nights sleep! Seems like he's slowed down on his eating for now... but I know it won't be long until we're full speed ahead again.
--> I went tanning today. I'm going to try doing it 2 days a week for the month of March and see if it helps my never-ending battle with eczema. It was a toasty and relaxing 8 minutes.
